Boogie Nights: Avenue

The Boogie Nights series is meant to highlight the new age club scene, and the fabulous people that take part in it.

I will be taking candid polaroids of people around me to serve as a cheeky run through of my night.

Avenue, it's like home to me because this is where it all started. If what you're looking for is hip hop with the occasional electronic music and celeb sitings, then Avenue is the club for you. The setup is a tad constraining since it's basically a narrow hallway with lines of tables on both sides; not to fret though, there's a bar area towards the back that is usually crawling with semi wealthy men who i guess didn't feel like dropping a few grand for their own table, but might still by you a drink if you charm them, and an indoor upstairs balcony (usually only occupied if the club is full). Avenue also has a variety of people as it is one of the easier clubs to get into. Overall it's a pretty chill club and you're pretty much guaranteed a good time if you're there with the right people.
