Perks of Having a Small Purse

Most girls are guilty of lugging around big bags that are filled with things they don't need; like those seven shades of lipstick that you must have for every occasion, or that disposable camera you thought would be cute to carry around in case of a photo op. Well I'm here to tell you ladies (even gents) that converting to small purses/bags is the way to go.

I mainly started wearing small bags because of my small stature; I felt that big bags swallowed me whole and made me look extra tiny (a tip to all of my petite ladies out there). Besides the benefit of proper proportions, I also noticed that carrying a smaller bag limited the amount of items I could stuff it with. Now I have to think practical and bring only the essentials. Bring the items you actually can't leave the house without, like your phone, keys, and wallet; Just try to picture Lincoln reciting P.K.W. to Ilana on Broad City. Whatever space remains, throw in a few more essentials you know you'll regret not tossing in your bag. I recently shot some pics with my friend Ericka, with a few of my personal favorite petite purses.
