Dazzle in Denim

Lately I've been all about denim, it's versatile and may be appropriated to various occasions. To avert having a closet full of dreary plain jeans I like to add some flavor by mixing in pieces that stand out. One of my favorite trends of the moment are patchwork and embroidery. I've seen it start to make its comeback to retailers of all types. Quite honestly, what I love most about it is that it reminds me of my childhood; as a kid my mom loved making me her real life doll, she decked me out in the cutest outfits and made me a child fashionista. I remember for a while I chose only to wear denim with embellishments (now that i look back on family albums I wish my mom would've put her foot down on my wild choices).
